Mae Margaret Whitman (9 de xunu de 1988, Los Angeles)[3] ye una actriz d'Estaos Xuníos. Ye conocida pol so papel como Ann Veal na serie de televisión Arrested Development, el so papel como Amber na serie Parenthood, el so papel como Roxy Ricther en Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, y pola so voz como Katara na serie de televisión animada Avatar: The Last Airbender, Rose en American dragon: Jake Long, y como Campaniella nes películes de Tinker Bell. El so mayor papel foi como fía del presidente en Independence Day en 1996. Tamién tuvo na película de 2012, The Perks of Being a Wallflower como Mary-Elizabeth.
Vida personal
[editar | editar la fonte]Whitman nació en Los Angeles, California. Ye fía única de Pat Musick, un artista de voz, y Jeff Whitman, un mánager personal. Whitman empezó la so carrera con una voz pa un comercial de Tyson Foods, un papel el cual la so madre tamién fizo una audición. Mientres esti tiempu, Whitman asistió a l'Academia Ribét, una preparatoria escolar privada, en Los Angeles.
Carrera

En 1994, a los seis años, Whitman fixo'l so debú nel cine, actuando xunto a Meg Ryan en Cuando un home ama a una muyer (1994), interpretando la fía menor de Meg Ryan, Casey.
Na película Independence Day (1996), Whitman interpretó a la fía del Presidente; tamién interpretó a la fía del personaxe de George Clooney, Maggie, en One Fine Day (1996) y la fía del personaxe de Sandra Bullock, Bernice, en Hope Floats (1998).
En 1996, Whitman apaeció como convidada nel episodiu "The One Where Rachel Quits" de la comedia Friends.
Mientres delles apaiciones como convidada dende 1998 hasta 2001, Whitman interpretó a Chloe Madison en JAG. Chloe yera la hermana pequeña de Sarah 'Mac' Mackenzie (Catherine Bell). En 2001 y 2002, Whitman protagonizó na serie d'ABC Family, State of Grace.

Whitman apaeció en Family Guy en 2010, y tuvo un papel na película adolescente de 2012, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, con Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, y Ezra Miller.
