Sphinginae ye una subfamilia de lepidópteros glosaos del cladu Ditrysia. Ye notable nesti taxón Agrius cingulata, (Acherontia spp.) que la so fema apaez nel filme The Silence of the Lambs, y Xanthopan morgani col so enorme proboscis.
