Robert Carradine (24 de marzu de 1954, Hollywood – 23 de febreru de 2026) foi un actor, actor de televisión, actor de cine, actor de xéneru, pilotu d'automovilismu, productor de cine, compositor y direutor de televisión d'Estaos Xuníos. Ye fíu del actor John Carradine y hermanu de Keith Carradine, tamién ye mediohermanu de los actores David Carradine (Kung Fu), Bruce Carradine y Michael Bowen. Yera'l miembru más nuevu del "cla" Carradine, una famosa dinastía d'actores.
Carrera
[editar | editar la fonte]Trabayó en numberoses películes dende empiezos de los 70's en papeles secundarios en drames y westerns, como nel so primer filme The Cowboys 1972 xunto al míticu John Wayne tamién actuó d'invitáu en distintes series de tv como Kung Fu col so hermanu David y Bonanza. En 1976 trabayu col so hermanu David Carradine en Cannonball. En 1977 trabayu en Orca: The Killer Whale con Richard Harris y Bo Derek, depués en 1978 actuó en Coming Home, al pie de los ganadores del oscar John Voight y Jane Fonda. En 1980 trabayu nel western The Long Riders y en 1981 actuó en The Big Red One (The Big Red One), un filme sobre la segunda guerra mundial, xunto a Lee Marvin y Mark Hamill.
El filme que lu llevó a la fama nel mundu enteru foi Revenge of the Nerds de 1984 nel papel del líder de los nerds, "Lewis Scolnick", tou un ésitu de taquilla y que dio orixe a tres secueles mas: Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise 1987, Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation 1992, Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love de 1994.
Popularizóse tamién na serie xuvenil Lizzie McGuire, faciendo'l papel Sam McGuire padre d'ésta. N'unu de los capítulos d'esta serie, apaeció David Carradine faciéndose un chisgo a la serie Kung Fu, indicándose que los dos actores yeren hermanos.
