Festuca heterophylla ye una especie de gramínees (o poacees). Ye orixinaria d'Europa.

Descripción

Ye una planta yerbácea que pertenez al xéneru Festuca, ensin dala dulda el más complicáu dientro de les gramínees. Sicasí, esta especie ye bono d'estremar, por cuenta del so acusáu dimorfismu foliar: les fueyes basales (inferiores) son más o menos capilares (de seición cuadrangular), ente que les caulinares (cimeres) son planes (de 2 a 3 mm d'anchor).^[1]

Distribución y hábitat

Tien una distribución eurosiberiana. N'España alcuéntrase en Barcelona, Girona y Lleida, nos montes húmedos y visiegos (xeneralmente fayedales, abetales o pinares de pinu ruco).

Taxonomía

Festuca heterophylla describióse por Jean-Baptiste Lamarck y espublizóse en Flore Françoise 3: 600. 1778[1779].^[2]

Etimoloxía

Festuca: nome xenéricu que remanez del llatín y significa tarmu o brizna de paya, tamién el nome d'una meruxa ente la cebada.^[3]

heterophylla: epítetu llatín que significa "con distintes fueyes".^[4]
