En 2014 foi gallardoniada col Premiu Nobel de Fisioloxía o Medicina,[11] compartíu con John O'Keefe y Edvard Moser, «polos sos descubrimientos de célules que constitúin un sistema d'allugamientu nel celebru».[12]

May-Britt Moser xunto con Edvard Moser constitúin el quintu matrimoniu a lo llargo de la historia nel que dambos cónyuges consiguen llograr el premiu Nobel, nel so casu, el de Medicina.[13]
