Frank Hall Crane (1 de xineru de 1873, San Francisco – 1 de setiembre de 1948, Woodland Hills) foi un actor y direutor teatral y cinematográficu d'Estaos Xuníos.^[2]

Biografía

Nacíu en San Francisco, California, debutó nel cine en 1909 nun western de Broncho Billy Anderson producíu por Essanay Studios. Darréu trabayó pa la compañía productora Thanhouser Company, especializada en versiones cinematográfiques d'obres teatrales y lliteraries, pa la cual interpretó dellos papeles como protagonista. Por ello munchos de los sos personaxes fueron héroes románticos como'l Rochester de Jane Eyre (1910). L'actor, pasáu a la direición, robló en 1914 una nueva versión de la novela de Charlotte Brontë.

A lo llargo de la so carrera Frank Hall Crane actuó en 81 producciones, y dende 1914 a 1927 dirixó 51. Foi'l guionista de 3 filmes y en 1926 foi ayudante de producción de The Bat, de Roland West.^[3]^[2]
