Biografía

Inicio

Kim nació en Busán (Corea del Sur) y camudóse cola so familia a Estaos Xuníos a la edá de dos años, onde creció n'Easton (Pennsylvania).

Kim graduar na Freedom High School de Bethlehem (Pennsylvania) y la Universidá de Haverford de Haverford Township (Pennsylvania), onde se graduó con doble especialidá en ciencies polítiques y teatru. La so especialidá en teatru completar na Universidá Bryn Mawr de Bryn Mawr (Pennsylvania).

Carrera

Antes de ser escoyíu pal rol de Jin en Lost, yera conocíu polos sos recurrentes roles nel xéneru de ciencia ficción y fantasía. Anque'l so personaxe en Lost fala principalmente en coreanu y cuasi nun tien l'habilidá pa falar inglés, en realidá ye la primer llingua de Daniel y nun fala'l coreanu con fluidez. Foi vistu en Angel, 24, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, Crusade, Urxencies, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Charmed y otros programes. Fixo apaiciones especiales en Seinfeld y NYPD Blue. Na actualidá interpreta al detective Chin Jo Kelly na serie Hawaii Five-0.

Les sos apaiciones nel cine inclúin un pequeñu papel en Spiderman 2 y en Crash, la ganadora del Óscar a la meyor película en 2004. Protagonizó a Kim na película The Cave.
