L'Óscar al meyor curtiumetraxe ye una categoría de los Premios Óscar que da l'Academia de les Artes y les Ciencies Cinematográfiques de Hollywood nuna ceremonia añal en reconocencia al meyor curtiumetraxe. Empezó a entregase en 1932 col nome Best Short Subject, pero en 1974 cambióse'l nome a Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
Dende l'entamu de los premios en 1932 hasta 1935 taba estremáu en "Meyor curtiumetraxe de comedia" y "Meyor curtiumetraxe de novedá". De 1936 a 1956 hubo dos categoríes separaes: "Meyor curtiumetraxe d'un carrete" y "Meyor curtiumetraxe de dos carretes". En 1936 y 1937 diéronse tamién los premios "Meyor curtiumetraxe en color". A partir de 1957 pasaron a ser categoría única.
