Nina Bawden CBE (19 de xineru de 1925, Londres – 22 d'agostu de 2012, Londres)[8] foi una novelista y escritora infantil inglesa. N'Inglaterra asistió al Somerville College en Oxford. Foi nomada pal Premiu Booker en 1987 y el premiu Lost Man Booker en 2010.

Bawden nació y crióse en Ilford, Essex, en "una urbanización bastante desagradable que [la so] madre despreciada".[9]

Bawden morrió na so casa nel norte de Londres, n'agostu de 2012. La so familia anunció la muerte'l 22 d'agostu.
