Flowering Plants of Africa (embrivíu Fl. Pl. Africa)[1] foi una revista ilustrada con descripciones botániques que s'editó en Sudáfrica. Publicar dende l'añu 1945 col nome de Flowering Plants of Africa. A Magazine Containing Coloured Figures with Descriptions of the Flowering Plants Indigenous in Africa. Pretoria and Ashford. Foi precedida por Flowering Plants of South Africa.
Ye una serie de revistes ilustraes botániques similares a la revista Botanical Magazíne, que s'empecipió con plantes con flores de Sudáfrica por Illtyd Buller Pole-Evans en 1920 y anguaño ye publicáu pol Institutu de Biodiversidá Nacional de Sudáfrica (SANBI) en Pretoria. La revista amuesa y describe les plantes con flores d'África y les islles vecines.
Los artistes botánicos más notables que contribuyeron a les sos páxines inclúin a: Gillian Condy, Fay Anderson, Auriol Batten, Rosemary Holcroft, Betty Connell, Cythna Letty (que foi responsable de más de 700 plaques), Barbara Pike y Ellaphie Ward-Hilhorst. Los númberos tán impresos na cubierta y miden 250 x 190 mm.
La serie foi editada por Robert Allen Dyer quien foi asocedíu por Leslie Edward Wostall Codd.
