Strawberry Alarm Clock ye un grupu d'Estaos Xuníos de rock sicodélicu orixinariu de Los Angeles (California), más conocíu pol so mayor hit "Incense and Peppermints" de 1967.

Strawberry Alarm Clock llogró cinco canciones en llistes de Billboard, (incluyendo dos ésitos Top 40) y fueron parte del desenvolvimientu de bubblegum pop nos Estaos Xuníos.

Biografía

Nun principiu el grupu formar Ed King (guitarra), Mark Weitz (teclista), Lee Freeman (guitarra rítmica), Gary Lovetro (baxu), y Justin Burke (percusionista). Nel so primer y más famosu senciellu (single), "Incense and Peppermints", el cantante foi Greg Munford, un amigu del grupu de dieciséis años. El cantar algamó'l númberu unu na llista de "Pop Singles" a finales de 1967. Dempués del ésitu'l grupu añadió a George Bunnell (baxu y guitarra rítmica) antes de faer el so primera LP en 1967, tamién tituláu Incense and Peppermints. Bunnell tamién se convertiría nel so compositor principal. Dalgunes de los sos cantares tempranos fueron escrites por George Bunnell y Steve Bartek (quien más tarde se xuniría a Oingo Boingo). Nel capítulu 6 de la temporada 10 tamién puede escuchase un estractu de "Incense And Peppermints" enriba d'un autu "hippie".
