Tex Williams (23 d'agostu de 1917Illinois – 11 d'ochobre de 1985California) foi un músicu y actor d'Estaos Xuníos.

El so verdaderu nome yera Sollie Paul Williams, y nació en Ramsey, Illinois.

Ye conocíu principalmente por el so estilu de blues faláu. El so mayor ésitu foi'l cantar de tema humorística "Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette)," que lu caltuvo na primer posición de les llistes Billboard mientres seis selmanes en 1947. "Smoke" foi'l cantar númberu cinco nel Top 100 del Billboard de 1947, y númberu unu de la llista country d'esi añu.[2] Esta tema podía escuchase nes escenes d'apertura de la película de 2006 Gracies por fumar.

La banda de Williams, los Western Caravan, taba compuesta por una docena de miembros, perfectamente acompasaos y con un gran nivel d'interacción ente los diversos preseos, guitarra llétrica, steel guitar, violinos, baxu, acordión, trompeta, y otros (inclusive, dacuando, un arpa).
