Sigrid Liede (1957) ye una botánica alemana. Desenvuelve la so actividá científica y académica nel "Departamentu de Sistemática Vexetal. de la Universidá de Bayreuth.

En 1979 llogró'l so llicenciatura en bioquímica, pola Universidá de Tubinga. Y, en 1983 el M.Sc. en bioloxía (especialidá botánica aplicada, y microbioloxía) pola Universidá d'Hamburgu, defendiendo la tesis Estudios na taxonomía d'especies del xéneru Pleiospilos, Mesembryanthemaceae. En 1988, el so PhD en botánica, pola mesma casa d'altos estudios, cola tesis Estudios na taxonomía y ecoloxía del xéneru Erepsia, Mesembryanthemaceae, y en 1996 un posdoctorado, pola Universidá d'Ulm, cola tesis Estudios nes Cynanchinae, Asclepiadeae- Asclepiadaceae.[2]
