Loreta Brandão de Freitas[nota 1] (1962) ye una bióloga, botánica, xenetista,[1][2] xeobotánica,[3] curadora, y profesora[4] brasilana.[5]

Biografía[editar | editar la fonte]

En 1984, llogró la llicenciatura en Ciencies Biolóxiques pola Pontificia Universidá Católica de Rio Grande do Sul; en 1989, y pola Universidá Federal de Rio Grande do Sul, un títulu de maestría en xenética y bioloxía molecular, defendiendo la tesis Contribuição da regulação gênica para a variabilidade isoenzimática de GOT (glutamato-oxalacetato transaminase) em Relbunium hypocarpium (Rubiaceae), cola supervisión de la Dra. Helga Winge (1934); y, en 1997, el doctoráu en xenética y bioloxía molecular, pola mesma casa d'altos estudios, siendo becaria del Conseyu Nacional de Desendolque Científicu y Teunolóxicu, CNPq, Brasil, como tamién pa la maestría.[6]

Ye autora na identificación y nomamientu de nueves especies pa la ciencia, a abril de 2015, tien un nuevu rexistru d'especies, especialmente de la familia Solanaceae, y con énfasis del xéneru Petunia "Passiflora" "Calibrachoa (vease más embaxo'l venceyu a IPNI).
