Trayeutoria
[editar | editar la fonte]Abel nació en Canton, Ohio. El so primer papel foi na película orixinal de Disney Channel Go Figure como Spencer. Más tarde desempeñó un papel recurrente en Threshold, y apaeció delles vegaes en series como Cold Case y ER. Ganó'l premiu Rising Star nel 16º Festival Internacional de Cine de Hamptons, pol so trabayu na película Flash of Genius. En 2009, Abel apaeció na película The Lovely Bones, dirixida por Peter Jackson, amás d'en la serie online Angel of Death, interpretando a Cameron Downes. En febreru de 2009, Jake foi escoyíu pa interpretar a Adam Milligan na esitosa serie Supernatural. Darréu interpretó a Luke Castellan na película Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, estrenada'l 12 de febreru de 2010. Apaeció en I Am Number Four como Mark James. En 2012 foi escoyíu pa interpretar a Ian O'Shea na adautación cinematográfica de la novela romántica de ciencia ficción de Stephenie Meyer, La güéspede (n'inglés: The Host) estrenada en Marzu de 2013. Nesi mesmu añu (2012) empezó'l rodaxe de Percy Jackson & the Olympians 2: The Sea of Monsters na que volverá interpretar a Luke Castellan. N'abril de 2013 empezó en Méxicu'l rodaxe de la película Ghosts Of The Pacific onde va compartir repartida con Tom Felton y Garret Dillahunt.
