El comanche[1] ye una llingua indíxena norteamericana de la familia uto-azteca falada na parte occidental d'Oklahoma.
Orixe del nome[editar | editar la fonte]
Anque esisten delles propuestes sobre l'orixe del nome Comanche, créese[2] que procede del términu de la llingua ute Ko·mantci· 'el mio enemigu' (pronunciáu [kɨ.ˈman.tsi] o [kɨ.ˈma.tsi])[3][4][5]
