John Allen Astin (30 de marzu de 1930, Baltimore) ye un actor y direutor de los Estaos Xuníos d'América. Mundialmente famosu por interpretar al patriarca de la familia Homero Addams (Hispanoamérica) o Gomez Addams (España) en The Addams Family. Tamién sustituyó al actor Frank Gorshin como'l villanu Riddler en dos episodios de la serie de TV de Batman.

El so últimu trabayu foi na película llamada Starship II: Rendezvous with Ramses que s'estrenó nel 2008, onde interpretó'l personaxe del Professor Peabody.

En 1972 casóse cola actriz Patty Duke hasta 1985 y ye padre del tamién actor Sean Astin y Mackenzie Astin. Enantes de 1956 a 1971, tuvo casáu con Susan Hahn cola que tuvo 3 fíos.
