Condaos históricos d'Inglaterra
Los condaos históricos (n'inglés: historic counties) son antigües subdivisiones d'Inglaterra.[1] Fueron utilizaos en diverses funciones mientres cientos d'años[2] y constituyeron, anque con llendes considerablemente camudaes, la base del gobiernu llocal inglés modernu.[3][4] Tamién son conocíos como condaos antiguos (n'inglés: ancient counties).[5]

El mapa omite los exclaves de los condaos, salvu por Furness, parte de Lacanshire (númberu 19 nel mapa), al este de Cumberland, al oeste de Westmorland y al sur de dambos. Monmouthshire yera d'antiguo consideráu como un condáu d'Inglaterra, pero anguaño polo xeneral acéptase que forma parte de Gales.
