Colette nació na llocalidá estauxunidense de King George, nel estáu de Virxinia. Ellí pasó la mayoría de la so mocedá, onde más tarde se graduó nel Institutu d'Educación Secundaria King George, trubiecu de dellos alumnos destacaos como'l tackle ofensivu de los Osos de Chicago, Jermon Bushrod, o la congresista del Partíu Demócrata de Virxinia, Krystal Ball.

Debutó per primer vegada nel cine en 2006 en realizando'l so primer casting, cola película The Foot Fist Way, dirixida pol so actual home Jody Hill y onde interpretaba'l papel de Denise; Wolfe volvió participar n'otra de les películes de Hill 3 años más tarde, actuando como Nell en Observe and Report. Nun debutó en televisión hasta 2009, cola serie de televisión, Reaper, onde participó en tan solo un episodiu faciendo'l papel d'Olivia.

Anque la so carrera llevaba 3 años en funcionamientu, Colette nun consiguió un papel nun filme destacáu hasta 2009, n'interpretando a Wendy en 17 Again, protagonizada por Zac Efron. En 2010 entró a formar parte d'un repartu principal como co-protagonista de la película Hot Tub Time Machine, onde dio vida a Kelly, la madre de Jacob (Clark Duke) nel pasáu y como adolescente.[2][3]
