Claire van der Boom (21 de payares de 1983, Broome) ye una actriz australiana, más conocida por haber interpretáu a Grace Barry na serie Rush y a Rachel Edwards en Hawaii Five-O.

Claire ye fía de Piet, ye d'ascendencia neerlandesa.
Nel 2005 graduar de la prestixosa escuela National Institute of Dramatic Art ("NIDA") .
Yera amiga del agora fináu actor Mark Priestley.
Carrera[editar | editar la fonte]
Nel 2008 llogró'l so primer papel como protagonista na película The Square, onde interpretó a Carla Smith, una peluquera infelizmente casada quien decide roba-y al so home, Greg, un delincuente de mal pelo y fuxir col so vecín y amante Raymond Yale (David Roberts). Originalmete el papel de Carla yera pa l'actriz Rose Byrne y Claire había audicionado pa un papel de sofitu. Sicasí, por cuenta de retrasos de la producción, Rose yá nun taba disponible y el direutor Nash Edgerton llamó a Claire pa sustituyila.[1]
Esi mesmu añu xunir al repartu de la serie policiaca Rush, onde interpretó a la oficial Grace Reid-Barry, sicasí'l so personaxe morrió nel hospital por hemorraxa, dempués de qu'esplotara una bomba mientres una operación. Orixinalmente l'oficial Dominic "Dom" Wales, interpretáu pol actor Josef Ber, diba ser asesináu na primer temporada; pero como Claire llogró visar de residencia que solicitara nos Estaos Xuníos, pidió salir de la serie y el so personaxe foi asesináu en vegada del de Dominic.[2][3]
Nel 2010 apaeció na miniserie The Pacific onde interpretó a Stella, una moza griega-australiana que seduz al infante de marina estauxunidense Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), cuando esti ye unviáu a Melbourne pa recuperase de los horrores de la guerra en Guadalcanal. La miniserie foi producida por Steven Spielberg y Tom Hanks.[4][5]
Tamién apaeció na película Rede Hill, onde interpretó a Alice Cooper, la esposa embarazada del nuevu policía Shane Cooper, interpretáu por Ryan Kwanten.
Esi mesmu apaeció xunióse como personaxe recurrente na serie norteamericana Hawaii Five-O onde ínterpreta a Rachel Edwards, la ex-esposa británica del Detective Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan).[6][7]
En febreru del 2011 interpretó a la criminal Clelia Vigano, la novia del criminal David McMillan na película fecha pa la televisión Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away.
Claire apaeció na webserie de seis partes Low Life xunto a Henry Nixon y Ruby Rose.[8]
Nel 2016 xunir al repartu principal de la serie Game of Silence onde interpretó a Marina Nagle, hasta rematar la primer temporada esi mesmu añu, dempués de que la serie fora cancelada.

Nel 2003 Claire grabó la so voz nel cantar tituláu Do What You Want, producida por Jase From Outta Space; el cantar foi entemecida por Infusion, Max Graham y Jacob Todd.[9]
