Christopher McDonald (15 de febreru de 1955, Nueva York) ye un actor d'Estaos Xuníos. Ye conocíu por interpretar personaxes sobeyosos o villanos, y por participar en numberoses películes dende'l so debú en 1980; incluyendo Thelma & Louise, Quiz Show, The Perfect Storm, Requiem for a Dream, Happy Gilmore, Spy Kids 2 y Superhero Movie.
Vida privada
[editar | editar la fonte]McDonald nació na ciudá de Nueva York, fíu de Patricia, una profesora d'enfermería y axente inmobiliaria, y James McDonald, un educador.[3] Crióse en Romulus, Nueva York, y graduóse nel Hobart College de Geneva, Nueva York, onde foi miembru de la fraternidá Kappa Alpha Society. McDonald ta casáu con Lupe Gidley y tienen cuatro fíos: Jackson Riley (n. 1990), Hannah Elizabeth (n. 1993), Rosie (n. 1996) y Ava Catherine (n. 2001).
Carrera
[editar | editar la fonte]El nome de McDonald figuró en numberoses películes y series de televisión, de cutiu como actor de repartu ya interpretando personaxes antagónicos. Nel cine tuvo papeles en películes como Breakin', Grease 2, The Boys Next Door, Thelma & Louise, Grumpy Old Men, Quiz Show, Flubber, The Faculty, The Perfect Storm, House Arrest, Dirty Work, American Pie 5: The Naked Mile, Broken Flowers y Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams. Interpretó a Ward Cleaver na versión filmica de Leave It to Beaver y al famosu comentarista de baseball Mel Allen en 61*. En 1994 protagonizó la cinta Terminal Velocity interpretando a un agresivu gangster rusu, xunto a Charlie Sheen.
En televisión, amás de roles habituales nes series Family Law, North Shore, Veronica's Closet, Good Advice y Harry's Law, McDonald apaeció como convidáu en Cheers, Riptide, Knight Rider, The Sopranos, Psych, Home Improvement, Las Vegas, la franquicia de Law & Order, Stargate Universe y Star Trek: The Next Generation como'l teniente Richard Castillo nel episodiu "Yesterday's Enterprise" de la tercer temporada. Tamién personificó a Joe DiMaggio na serie orixinal de ESPN The Bronx Is Burning.
