Charlotte Burton (30 de mayu de 1881, San Francisco – 28 de marzu de 1942, Los Angeles) foi una actriz cinematográfica d'Estaos Xuníos de la dómina del cine mudu.

Biografía[editar | editar la fonte]

En 1912 robló pa la compañía teatral American Company, pa la cual trabayó dellos años. Darréu xunióse a la productora cinematográfica Essanay Studios, a la que demandó en 1919 por un valor de 25.000 dólares per incumplimientu de contratu. El motivu yera que tenía d'actuar principalmente en filmes dramáticos, cuando na realidá cuasi tol so trabayu tuvo llugar en comedies.

En 1917 Charlotte casóse con William Russell en Santa Ana (California), a quien conociera nel rodaxe de The Diamond From The Sky, pa los American Santa Barbara Studios. Nel momentu de la so boda yá abandonara Essanay y taba contratada por Liberty. Más palantre volvió casase, nesta ocasión con Darrell Stuart.

Charlotte Burton Stuart finó en Los Angeles, California, en 1942 por causa de un infartu agudu de miocardiu. Tenía 60 años. El so maríu, Darrell Stuart, sobrevivió-y.
