Betsy Ann Brandt (14 de marzu de 1973, Bay City) ye una actriz d'Estaos Xuníos, conocida por personificar a Marie Schrader na serie de televisión Breaking Bad.
Primeros años y educación
[editar | editar la fonte]Brandt nació en Bay City, Michigan.[2] El so padre, Gary, yera lletricista y la so madre, Janet, yera docente.[3] Graduóse na Escuela Secundaria Western en 1991.[4]
Brandt graduóse na Universidá d'Illinois n'Urbana-Champaign en 1996, onde estudió actuación.[5][6] Tamién estudió Teatru na Universidá de Harvard (nel Moscow Art Theatre Institute), y na Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama en Glasgow.[2]
Carrera
[editar | editar la fonte]Nel teatru, Brandt participó na obra Much Ado About Nothing cola Arizona Theatre Company, en Control+Alt+Delete con San Jose Repertory Theatre, en Ridiculous Fraud de Beth Henley, en The Language Archive de Julia Cho con South Coast Repertory y en Next Fall con Geffen Playhouse.
Brandt tuvo participaciones nes series televisives Without a Trace (onde interpretó a Libby, un personaxe recurrente), Judging Amy, ER, Boston Legal, The Practice y NCIS. Dende 2008 hasta 2013, interpretó a Marie Schrader na serie dramática Breaking Bad, emitida pola canal de televisión AMC. Brandt había audicionado pa tres papeles distintos primero que-y ufiertaren el personaxe de Marie.[7]
En payares de 2012, empezó a interpretar a Sandy, la exesposa de Hank Rizzoli (personificáu por Ray Romano) nel drama de NBC Parenthood. Al añu siguiente, foi contratada pa personificar a Annie Henry en The Michael J. Fox Show, pero la serie foi atayada depués d'una única temporada al aire.[5]

Vida personal
[editar | editar la fonte]Brandt ta casada col so compañeru de la universidá Grady Olsen; tienen dos fíos, Josephine (d'ocho años d'edá) y Freddie (de cinco años).[4][5][8] Dio a lluz al so segundu fíu en 2008, cuando taba en producción la segunda temporada de Breaking Bad. Brandt y la so familia moren en Los Angeles.[2]
