L'himnu nacional d'Arxelia ye Qasaman (árabe: قسماً; Kassaman en treslliteración francesa), que significa «xuramos». Foi adoutáu en 1963, llueu de la independencia de Francia. L'autor de la lletra ye Moufdi Zakaria (que lo escribió'l 25 d'abril 1955, mentanto yera prisioneru de les tropes coloniales franceses) na prisión de Barbarroxa, y la música (tercera versión del himnu) ye obra del compositor exipcianu Mohamed Fawzi. Ye unu de los pocos himnos que tien na lletra la referencia a otru país, Francia nesti casu. La polémica que xeneró el corte d'unu de los sos cinco versículos foi tan importante que'l mesmu presidente tuvo qu'intervenir. Nel so llibru «Los intelectuales de la Revolución arxelina», Larbi Zbiri escribió que nun principiu, l'himnu nacional titulóse "Fach'hadou" ("Sian testigos") pero que después el títulu cambióse.
