En The Drew Carey Show interpretó a Larry Almada, un compañeru de trabayu de Drew en Winfred-Louder. Tamién trabayó con Drew Carey nel show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. En Curb Your Enthusiasm, interpretó al "chef calvu", al que Larry contrató pa cocinar nel restorán de la so propiedá con Jeff Greene, Ted Danson, Michael York, y Hugh Mellon. Ente 1998 y 2002, interpretó a Javier Clemente Quintata nel show Felicity. N'abril de 2006, Gomez apaeció en Reba como un terapeuta nel episodiu llamáu "Here We Go Again". Tuvo apocayá en Jake in Progres, xunto a John Stamos, y apaeció nel cuartu episodiu de Lost na tercer temporada, "Every Man for Himself". Nació en Nueva York, de padre artista y madre baillarina.[1] Ta casáu cola actriz y escritora Nia Vardalos de My Big Fat Greek Wedding; y dambos pueden ser vistos na película Connie and Carla. Gomez ye de Puertu Ricu y tien ascendencia xudía rusa, anque se convirtió a la relixón ortodoxa griega al casase con Vardalos. En 2008, la pareya adoptó a una neña.[2][3][4]
